ABOUT US
Gowrie House Care Home is a purpose-built care home on its own private grounds, set over three floors and caring for up to 60 residents. Our extensive grounds are truly a unique feature of our home.
There is always something happening at Gowrie House to get involved in or look forward too. We are proud of the warm and friendly atmosphere throughout our home and strive to ensure that residents are comfortable and relaxed 24 hours a day. We offer residential, nursing and respite care and have a specialised dementia unit.
We want our residents to make the most of each day and we really get to know each one individually. This lets us create a person-centred plan for their care and expectations of us and their life with us at Gowrie House. For our residents living with Dementia, we work with families to create a Memory Book, to help them share their life-stories with the team and fellow residents.
We have a dedicated, full time activities co-ordinator and an on-site chef at Gowrie House, ensuring that residents are continuously encouraged to be active, socialise and also have a nutritious diet with expert advice on how to stay healthy and well hydrated.
The well-being of our residents is our priority. Keeping an active mind and focusing on movement and stimulation of the body lets residents live a fulfilled life with us here at Gowrie House.
